Bakart Studio
Bakart Studio is a warm and creative space located in the very heart of Zagreb, where adults and children can explore painting, drawing, and various creative techniques with confidence and joy. The studio is led by Natasha Bakovic, an academic painter with over 10 years of experience working with children and adults.
Our teaching is based on an academic yet individualized approach, emphasizing technical foundations, the development of creativity, and personal artistic expression. Every class is designed to inspire, whether you are holding a brush for the first time or wish to deepen and advance your existing practice.
In a supportive atmosphere, participants develop their skills and imagination through painting, drawing, mixed media, and creative workshops. Classes are held in small groups, allowing for a personalized approach and more effective learning.
Bakart is open to both children and adults and caters to the international community - classes are conducted in English, French, Croatian, Russian, and Polish.
More than just an art studio, Bakart is a place to slow down, create mindfully, and reconnect with your inner creativity.
Join us and make creativity a part of your everyday life. For more information or to register, feel free to send a private message or email us at: bakart.art@gmail.com
About us
Hello! My name is Natasha Bakovic, an academic painter and the founder of Bakart Studio. I graduated from the I. Repin Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg, where I specialized in classical techniques of painting, drawing, and composition. Since 2012, I have been working as an independent artist, creating original paintings and leading art courses in Poland, France, and now Croatia.
I have a particular passion for oil painting—for me, it is a dialogue with time and color. This technique allows for layering, refining details, and creating rich, deep colors with smooth transitions and vibrant light. I bring this passion to my classes, whether we are working on portraits, landscapes, or still lifes.
I find great joy in working with students—watching your progress, nurturing your creativity, and fostering positive emotions through art. My goal is to provide a warm, supportive space where everyone can enjoy every moment of the creative process.
